![]() Loading my own custom campaign led to a crash of the mod and another time it just loaded it but I couldn't see it ingame, probably because the MOD was not downloaded before. ![]() You could use the system's default browser instead or automatically find a download link and let the user download the campaign file. Clicking on "Custom" and seeing all the custom campaigns and then clicking on "Download on Hive" opens Hive in a custom browser which shows some script errors. It is only necessary for all the custom textures? It takes some time to download all the stuff. The "Install Mod" step could be done automatically by default and there should be an option to uinstall/disable the mod.Add an installer which preselects the Warcraft directory based on the registry entry and adds a Desktop icon, so I don't have to remember where the Warcraft III folder is.I had to change the language because it was Chinese or something. Thanks again for your work on this mod, looking forwrad to future updates. There are alot of cool reforged hd models and sd version models on this site, but the logistics of using them is so tedious, having to edit every singel map you want to use them on in the editor. While in quenching its like the ingame skin selector, you pick a skin and its applied everywhere.I think with the ability of useres being able to add additional models and skins to the skin selector list alongside the onese you made available to choose from, would just be amazing and greatly increase the ease of use and modding potential of the game. More so i wanted to ask is it planed or even possible for quenching to have functionality for users of the mod, once it is installed,to be able to add other custom models/skins for heroes to the selection by themselves? Use to get new patch We will keep updating this tool for any new informationįist of all, absolutely amazing work on the quenching mod,the graphics enhancements of the terrain are exactly what this game needed(i hve been using the melee mode set and its amazing how it makes the game look)īut i wanted to ask how are you able to apply custom skins on regular melee maps and rest of the game, normally you would have to make a custom map in the world editor with the injected model/skin for it to be applied. If the client has an update, there will be a hint If network error try again after 10 minutes How to update custom campaign api (in progress) How to install Special graphic mode (reforged only) For developers Switchable new UI (reforged and classic) Experiment custom campaign (reforged and classic) Units/Heroes skin change (reforged and limited classic) Camera/Gamma/Fog adjustment in melee game (reforged and classic) Graphic assets replacement (reforged only) Graphic rendering enhancement (reforged only) ![]() Support Reforged/Classic/RPG/Campaign/Melee/Worldeditor Let's cut to the point and have a quick look. You do not need to perform very well when playing if you are testing and the benefits of having it in front with something else behind (eg the editor) is immense.QM is a versatility mod with lots of gaming functions, it's specially build for warcraft III 1.32. Normal windowed mode is fine for testing however. It becomes just too easy to press outside the display window and lose focus (not something you want when playing). You cannot game with standard windowed mode unless there is an input lock in place. There is also an apparent resource overhead associated with this however in modern day operating systems it is very small (trivial). The dis-advantage of borderless window is that the application is now displayed by the windows manager which means that there may be extra feedback latency (a command will appear to take longer to execute because it takes longer for the results to be displayed). This is why it can take several seconds to change between a full screen application and why many full screen applications break so badly when resuming. This also means a lot of D3D/OpenGL context needs to be re-created. The opposite occurs when resuming a full screen application. When minimizing the application the lock has to be acquired by the windows manager which requires forcing the application to give up its display lock. In normal full screen applications what makes the alt+tab unresponsive is the display lock. ![]() It also makes it less likely to fail to run if another full screen application is working since it does not need a display lock. As such you can context swap (alt+tab) instantly between applications. The graphics are similar to that of full screen (all display area used, native resolution, all clickable area is the game) except there is no exclusive display lock. Click to expand.Modern applications like Diablo III and various emulators support "borderless windowed" display mode.
